Dr. Sani has presented and published over 30 technical papers and reports. He holds B. Eng. degree in Chemical Engineering from ABU Zaria, Nigeria; M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from KFUPM Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma, USA; and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Houston, Houston, Texas, USA. He has been an active member and serving in different roles for several professional associations: SPE, AIChE, AAPG, ESGADIA and AkSES. He is also the founder of MARPAK Engineering and Grand Premier Investments Ltd. He has received several merit awards, scholarships and recognitions during his professional career. He has organized and chaired Oil & Gas shows, conferences, workshops and symposiums globally.

Dr. Abu Sani is the President and CEO of PAK Engineering Corporation, Houston, Texas, USA. His company provides Oil & Gas Engineering & Consultancy Services, Project Management Services and Man-Power Training & Development. The company is currently providing Project Management and Consulting Services for a 6k bpd Modular Refinery and 60 MMSCFD Cryogenic Turboexpander Gas Processing Plant. The company has directed operations (well planning, drilling & completions operations and operations services) as well as managed the support services personnel for a turnkey drilling campaign of a new well in Niger Delta. Prior to founding PAK Engineering, Dr. Sani worked as a Petroleum Engineering Consultant for Saudi Aramco, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, as a Principal Production Engineer for BHP Billiton Petroleum Resources, Houston, USA, as a Senior Completions Engineer for Marathon Oil Corporation, Houston, USA and as a Senior Petroleum Engineer with Schlumberger (SLB) Oilfield Services, in USA (Maurice, Houston, and San Antonio). He is a highly experienced Petroleum Engineer with over 30 years of professional experience covering both the Academia and the Oil & Gas Industry. He is very versatile and results-driven engineer with an unmatched track record of achievements.
