Daniel Agbaire is a Geoscientist with in-depth skills in production geology, operations geology, seismic interpretation, prospect evaluation/maturation, full hydrocarbon maturation cycle, Production Operations, management of oil and gas projects, managing Regulatory and Government agencies amongst others. He worked for over 30 years with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited during which he held various technical, Assurance, leadership and management positions across a broad spectrum of teams in various Exploration & Production functions in several locations in and outside of Nigeria.

He retired in March 2020 from the Shell Companies as General Manager Exploration, Nigeria, a position which ensured he was in the leadership team of Shell Companies in Nigeria and Gabon. He has also worked as Operations Director for Conoil Producing Nigeria Limited and as a Subsurface Assurance Consultant with Waltersmith Petroman Nigeria Limited. He is currently a Non-Executive Director with several Indigenous Oil companies including Benel Energy Resources Limited and Cascade Petroleum Nigeria Limited.

Daniel is a product of the University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.SC) degree in Geology in 1983. He also holds a Master of Science (M.SC) Degree in Geology from the University of Benin, Benin City in 1986.
