Malachy Abulu is a seasoned oil and gas engineering and project management professional with more than 32 years’ experience garnered mainly during an extensive 30-year international career with Shell. After his career at Shell, he has worked as an independent industry consultant as well as the General Manager for projects at Waltermith Petroman Oil Limited.

During his career, he has managed all aspects of onshore, shallow water and deepwater projects. He has expertise in leading and coaching teams in the engineering and management of complex projects in all phases, with integration across subsurface, wells and surface elements.

He graduated from the University of Ibadan with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, has an MBA from Rice University, Houston USA and a Certificate in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford University, USA. He is COREN registered and a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
